Learning Outcome 6
In my first paper the biggest problem with the local revisions was my spelling because I had quite a few misspelled words. I defiantly need to work on going back and rereading my work because sometimes I think my brain moves faster than my typing and that causes me to misspell words. I also need to work on signal phrase to introduce a quote because I did use a signal phrase I just did not specific who before introducing the quote. This can be confusing to the reader because then they do not know who is speaking even though I know since I found the quote. In my second paper my local revision marked was a convention because I did not italicize the name of the book Solomon. I would say this is an unusually error for me because I am pretty good at checking to make sure my the titles are italicized, but I think this time it was just a mistake on my part. In my second paper I improved on sentence structures and better language choices for my paper. I noticed that sometimes my sentences did not make sense so I really improved on editing them so they made more sense both in my head and in the paper itself. I also made the error of not italicizing the book title during this essay too which I though I was good at checking but defiantly show need to work on this. Finally in my third paper I had less errors and my sentence structures were basically free of errors. This shows that over time I have learned to improve my word choice so I can appropriately get my ideas across without much confusion.
